As we look forward to storm season and the colder months ahead of us, will you be ready for any potential power outages? The outage that occurred at the end of last month left approximately 700,000 people without power – did you lose power? Were you prepared? It’s important to always have some kind of emergency kit on hand for a situation like that, usually including bottled water, basic first aid supplies, and non-perishable food. You should have enough supplies to last for 72 hours, or 3 days. Check out this list for some other items you might want to have on hand:
